Glena Wirtanen Horsemanship Award

Once again MHSA will be honoring legendary horsewoman, Glena Wirtanen, through the MHSA Glean Wirtanen Horsemanship Award. The Glena Wirtanen Horsemanship award will be awarded each year to the MHSA member who exemplifies outstanding horsemanship skills through integrity, empathy, and extensive knowledge of horse welfare and safety, and acts as a positive role model and advocate of horsemanship in the community. The recipient to be chosen through nominations and selection committee. The deadline for the Glena Wirtanen Horsemanship Award nomination is October 1, 2022. Please email the nomination to the secretary@mdhsa.org by the deadline.
