President's Message

I believe we are off to a great start this year! The website has a new Champion and Congratulations Page, the points are correct and up to date, and the weather has been good enough to get to most of the shows. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about any MHSA matter. I would like to address any area of concern promptly and efficiently . Three MHSA members made the trip to Phoenix , Arizona during the USHJA Annual Convention to receive their Foundation Awards. Gracie Silbaugh received the Zone 3 High Point Large Junior award for her 'The Other Man'. Alexis Sicher was all smiles as usual when she received her Champion ribbon and trophy for Hillstreett Blues, Zone 3 High Point Children's Pony. Taylor Serio, made it a family weekend by brining her mom and grandmother to pick up Inside Scoop's Zone 3 High Point Pre - Green Champion Award.

Horse Show News

The weather has allowed everyone to show a lot in the first two months of the season.
Patti Schindler's Luv Bug won three classes at Halcyon's Season Opener on December 1st to make her A/A Champion for the day.

Rio Parker's new adorable large pony , Best Kept Secret, is off to a great start this season receiving great ribbons at Swan Lake's Holiday Blast and Winter Kick-Off A shows.

Stonewall County Horse Show I in Lexington , Va was very popular again this year. The entries were high and the competition hard. Elizabeth Roberts had a wonderful weekend with both of her Junior horses. Autograph was champion in the Large Juniors and Black Mail was champion in the Small Juniors.
